Ben Hood is hired by a beautiful Sydney model to investigate what she believes is a haunting in her house which overlooks a notorious suicide cliff at The Gap, Watsons Bay. This treacherous location also claimed the lives of 121 men, women and children in a shipwreck in 1857. Someone seems to have invited the spirits of some of the dead from The Gap into the basement of the model’s home. One of the spirits is an angry vengeful man who seeks revenge on anyone he can get hold of because of his murder in 1973. Ben’s initial scepticism turns to fear when he realises that his martial arts skills are of little use in protecting him from a powerful force hiding in the darkness that wants him dead.

Another good one from Lindsay. A little off the wall but a very good read.This one starts with Rodney Reid having a case for Ben.
Ben really isn't interested as he's setting up a garden plot at home. Ben want to grow fresh vegetables in his garden.
Rod talks him into coming over to his house to talke about it. He also lets Ben know the client is a beauty.
Rod tells Ben that the client, Kristie Manson, is a model. She's around thirty years old and is drop dead gorgeous.
Kristie thinks her house is haunted. She's only wants Ben Hood to work on her case . Kristie wants Ben to come to her house located between Vadluse and Watson Bay close to Sydney.
The Gap is also between those two locations. It has a great view of the ocean and its where a ship foundered on the shore and one hundred or more people perished. This happned in 1858. Its also a place where suicides and murders have been committed. Manson's house has a great view of The Gap.
Rod talks Ben into taking the case. A case thats supposed to last three days. Three days in which Ben will be figuring out if Manson's house is in fact haunted or if its something else entirely.
So begins another great Ben Hood read.
This one has Ben, Kristie, her friend Courtney, Kristies other friend Judy, a nasty neighbor named Thornton, ghosts, murder, death, Ben's friend Matilda, a ouija board, a house thats over one hundred years old and Ben Hood trying to figure out one strange and sinister case
Five Stars and then some.

Good story line but too much emphasis on sex. More action would have improve story.
A little different to the usual Ben Hood thriller. I don't like creepy stories but this kept me intrigued. We saw another side of Ben Hood in this one.
Well I didn't think I would read one of these stories and not really like it, but I guess you can't like them all.I'm not into the ghost thing and actually couldn't wait for the story to end.
I've been enjoying the Ben Hood series but they're a bit predictable, especially all the beautiful main female characters (always half his age) that fall all over him...it's easy entertainment when I need a basic book.
Ben Hood is one of my favorite characters---he is sexy, and he can cook---who could ask for anything more!!! If you haven't read any of Drew Lindsay's books--he is up to #20, you don't know what you're missing. Not only are they really good, but you also learn about different locations in Australia, and the different people who live there.
Mr. Lindsey Mr. Lindsey you must be a pretty lazy bloke. You make me wait very anxiously for each new book. I have everything (as far as I know) that you have written and that can be obtained through prime. I don't know if anyone will ever call you a Shakespeare. What I do know is that I thoroughly enjoy every one of your books and can't wait for the next one. So hurry up I'm still waiting.
This latest Ben Hood thriller is a nice change of pace and allows the reader to delve into the more supernatural aspects touched on in earlier books by Mr. Lindsay. This story doesn't feature the typical, all-out physical brawl often seen some Ben Hood adventures but if you like ghost stories, then this tale is for you. Also, as an added bonus we get a cameo from one of the more intriguing characters from a previous book. No spoilers, but I think she deserves her own series. Anyway, great story told at a breakneck, runaway train fashion with some unexpected turns.
